Cancellation Policy:
A minimum of three days notice is required for cancellations to receive a full refund.
No refund will be given for cancellations made within three days of the scheduled walk.
Dogs in Season:
Dogs in season must be walked solo unless accompanied by multiple dogs from the same household.
Failure to disclose a dog's season may result in the walk finishing early and future walks being cancelled.
I assume no responsibility for any pregnancy that may occur.
Equipment and Safety:
It is the owner's responsibility to provide a dog tag with legally required information.
Faulty or ill-fitting equipment, such as harnesses or equipment that may harm the dog or other dogs, may result in the cancellation of the walk and/or future walks.
I take no responsibility for any injuries caused by the use of provided equipment.
Dog's Behavior:
If your dog causes harm to myself, other dogs in the group, members of the public, or their pets, the walk and future walks may be cancelled.
If the walk is cancelled due to the reasons outlined above, you will be charged the full price for the first walk and any walks within a three-day period. The remaining amount will be refunded.
Aggressive or excessively unruly behaviour, such as excessive pulling on the lead, excessive growling or barking, acting in a way that may cause harm to other dogs or me, or behaving in a manner that prevents me from giving equal attention to all dogs in my care (including excessively demanding attention or monopolizing my time), may result in the cancellation of the walk and/or future walks.
You will be charged the full price for the first walk, and any future walks will be refunded.
Vaccinations and Illness:
All dogs must be fully vaccinated, and any illnesses must be disclosed prior to the walk.
If your dog is ill and may pose a risk to other dogs, they will be walked solo at no extra cost, but the time of the walk may vary.
Safety and Emergencies:
In the event of an emergency or accident involving your dog, every effort will be made to contact you or your designated emergency contact. However, if immediate action is required to ensure the safety and well-being of your dog, I reserve the right to seek appropriate veterinary care at your expense.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your dog is up to date with vaccinations, flea and tick treatments, and any necessary medications to prevent the spread of diseases or parasites. I will not be held liable for any health issues that may arise due to the lack of preventive measures.
Inclement Weather:
Walks will generally proceed regardless of weather conditions. However, in extreme weather conditions such as severe storms, heavy snowfall, or extreme heat, walks may be modified or cancelled in the best interest of your dog's safety. You will be notified as soon as possible in such cases.
Updates and Communication:
It is essential to provide up-to-date contact information, including phone numbers and emergency contacts. Please inform me of any changes in your contact details or your dog's health or behaviour that may affect the walk.
In the event of an emergency or if your dog requires immediate veterinary attention during the walk, I will make every effort to contact you or your designated emergency contact. If unable to reach you, I will seek veterinary care at the nearest available veterinary clinic.
Please ensure that you provide accurate and current information regarding your preferred veterinarian, including their name, address, and contact number. This will enable prompt and efficient communication in case of any health-related concerns or emergencies involving your dog.
Confidentiality:
Any personal information shared with me will be treated with the strictest confidentiality and will only be used for the purpose of providing dog walking services.
